Partnership for Working Families (PWF)
Working Partnerships USA is a founder and anchor of the national Partnership for Working Families (PWF) , a network of regional “policy-action centers” dedicated to sharing resources, skills, and information to support new and emerging community organizations as they work to form progressive labor/community coalitions. Through PWF, Working Partnerships USA provides ongoing technical assistance to emerging community organizations in winning living wage, community benefits, or other policies to hold government accountable to working families.

The Tax and Fiscal Policy Project (TFP)
The Tax and Fiscal Policy Project (TFP) is a statewide collaboration between grassroots, progressive organizations determined to improve the economic well-being and political capabilities of low income constituencies, working families, and people of color through a pragmatic state-level tax and fiscal reform agenda. Our goal is to develop long-term structural solutions to the causes of our state’s budget woes, worsening public schools, cuts to services, and overall underinvestment in infrastructure.

Statewide Children’s Health Initiative
As a leader in the campaign for a statewide Children’s Health Initiative, Working Partnerships USA continues to develop policy recommendations and helpe build support for statewide universal children’s health insurance. In the midst of the recent health care reform proposals from the Governor and the legislature, we are working closely with state representatives, children’s advocates and health care organizations to ensure that in 2007 the state will expand health insurance to cover all children in California.

Clergy and Laity United for Economic Justice of California (CLUE-CA)
In November 2005, The Interfaith Council joined with partners statewide to create Clergy and Laity United for Economic Justice of California (CLUE-CA), a statewide network of faith-based groups concerned with economic and social justice. As one of the anchor organizations supporting the network,the Interfaith Council has facilitated the sharing of best practices and is working to coordinate faith-based responses to public policy and social justice issues that impact the entire state.


California State Workers
Through a partnership with SEIU Local 1000, representing _California state workers[Link: Focus Areas>GAR>Current Projects>Outsourcing#], Working Partnerships USA has provided research and policy analysis to support our state workers and think innovatively about improving government efficiency and accountability.  Our research has helped expose the true cost of politically motivated proposals to outsource and privatize state jobs.
